Spindale in Rutherford county, North Carolina is located in the lovely foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are located about half-way between Asheville, NC and Charlotte, NC and about 30 miles north-northwest of Spartanburg, SC. Spencer Baptist is easily accessable from US 221 and US 74. Our area showcases some of the most beautiful scenery in the nation. Closeby Lake Lure has been named one of the ten most beautiful man-man lakes in the world by National Geographic magazine. Also nearby is Chimney Rock and some of the most colorful fall follage imaginable. It's beauty is only surpassed by the friendly people that live here. And we are only a hop, skip and a jump from the Asheville area with the spectacular Biltmore House and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
